We are temporarily closed as of monday march 23rd, 2020, due to governor dewine's state order that only essential businesses remain open while we fight against the spread of covid19.
I am looking forward to being able to make cookies for you as soon as non-essential businesses are allowed to open back up here in the state of ohio.
as a non-licensed "cottage baker" I am considered non-essential while licensed bakeries are considered essential.
once I am able to reopen per the state of ohio, there are several factors that will determine when I can actually open..
1. availability of supplies ( butter, sugar, eggs, flour, etc). right now these items are very difficult to find and in the bulk amounts that I need to run my business each week.
2. since I bake out of my home, what will be required of myself and my family for me to be able to safely make cookies? for example would my family have to wear mask while at home - since I am making cookies?I
this is such a crazy time that we are living in and I am trying to make the best decisions for my business and make sure that we are not a part of the spread of covid19.
